Emma's topsy-turvy summer led her to eagerly anticipate reuniting with friends Lily and Amelia for familiar activities.However, when they meet before third grade begins, unexpected changes occur: Lily becomes a ballerina, Amelia loses interest in science, and they both enjoy hanging out with Emma's younger brother Little.
