My name is Amber Tamar Harris & I am writing to introduce my children's book, "Water your Body, Water the World", a fun, colorful, and educational story about a brother and sister on their journey to understand the importance of drinking water along with a vibrant exploration of water's role in the world. This book is designed to target children ages 0-8 years old. I believe "Water your Body, Water the World" would be a valuable addition to be able to reach parents, teachers and children worldwide to instill them with the knowledge of the many benefits of water. Being a first-time mother, it was a struggle trying to explain to my two-year-old daughter why she needed to drink water. One day I decided to write a children's book that would be more attention grabbing to explain the benefits of drinking water and it worked!! Safe to say my daughter Hayden LOVES drinking water and staying hydrated. Hayden now understands why I pressed the importance of drinking water. Thank you for your time and consideration.

The First Unicorn

Almost everyone knows what a unicorn is, but do you know where they came from? Who was the first unicorn? How did he get his golden horn? And why did others follow in his footsteps? Aden is a young horse, who believes that giving of his time and gifts is the best way to share hope in the world. One evening, he is visited by an angel who bestows a gift of gold upon his forehead, “You cannot see or spend it. It’s for others to behold.” Yet, when he returns home that evening, the herd sees the horn as a weapon and chases him away. Sad but not discouraged, Aden continues to help and care for others. However, when his mother gets injured, he discovers his horn can perform miracles. It was that first miracle that softened the hearts of the others and inspired them to lead a God-filled life as well.This story is about love, acceptance, kindness and giving. Lady Bug went for a stroll in the grass. She danced and sang and hopped and joyed. On the way she met Ant and said "Hello!" Ant replied "Hello!", and suddenly said: "Oh, Lady Bug! You're missing a spot!" Lady Bug was startled, and tried to look at her own back. But when she turned right, her back turned left, and when she turned left, her back turned right. So she stood by a drop of water that fell from a sprinkler, peeked back, and saw that she has really lost a spot! She started searching for it in the grass. She looked forward and back and right and left and up and down and all around... but couldn't find the spot. Ant saw that Lady Bug was sad, and said: "Don't worry, my friends and I will find it!" And all the ants came out of the nest to look for the spot. They searched forward and back and right and left and up and down and all around... but couldn't find the spot. Chubby Fly landed by Lady Bug and Ant, and saw that they were sad. He asked "Why are you so sad?" And Lady Bug answered "I was strolling in the grass and lost a spot". Fly said "I'll find it for you!" So he flew over the grass, forward and back and right and left and up and down and all around... but couldn't find the spot. Dizzy Grasshopper crashed by Lady Bug, Ant and Fly. He stood up, shook off, looked, and saw they were sad. "Why are you sad?" he asked, and Lady Bug answered "I was strolling in the grass and lost a spot". Grasshopper said "I'll look for it". And he started bouncing in the grass, soared and smashed, soared and smashed, forward and back and right and left and up and down and all around... but couldn't find the spot. Blind Molerat dug up and peeked from the ground by Lady Bug, Ant, Fly and Grasshopper, and heard them sigh. "Why are you so sad?" he asked, and Lady Bug said "I was strolling in the grass and lost a spot". "Maybe it fell into a crack in the ground, I'll look for it". He burrowed in the grass, and piled mounds all over, forward and back and right and left and down, and even deeper down, and all around... but couldn't find the spot. A little boy came out to the yard, and saw the sad Lady Bug, Ant, Fly, Grasshopper and Molerat. "Why are you so sad?" he asked, And Lady Bug said "I was strolling in the grass and lost a spot and we all looked, forward and back and right and left and up and down and all around but couldn't find the spot!" The boy said "Wait a moment". He came back home, took a black marker, held up Lady Bug gently, and drew a new spot, in just the right place.
