THOR is a very unusual and curious boar, who happens to dislike mud and dirt. Unlike his family and friends, Thor prefers to spend his time doing things that other boars usually don’t do, such as reading books and exploring the stars! Thor thinks that boars should stop being so messy and crude, and that they should evolve. But no one listens to him...One day Thor finds out about the pristine white animals who live in the North Pole, and so he embarks on an adventure to join them. Deep in the woods, beyond where many an eagle soars, Lives a clan of lively, happy, and hairy wild boars. They spend much of their days digging in the soil, Sniffing out edible treasures, after much sweat and toil. There you may spot one brash boy by the muddy pond, His parents named him THOR, because he was born...BLOND! Boars go through their days as they oink, snort and thud, You can’t see their hair cause boars are covered in...mud! Except THOR, who feels quite unique! He does not like the mud, and instead likes to speak: "We all should evolve, and stop being so crude, Life must have more meaning than just sleep, dirt and food!" But ideals and reality are worlds apart Realizing the difference is where our story starts. "Convincing the boars to change their ways is not an easy task," Explained his mom, as she plastered her face with her daily mud mask. "Boars will be boars", said his dad all the time, But THOR refused to accept that paradigm. Then one day, he discovered a book that some traveler did forget, Filled with marvelous pictures of animals that he had never met. As he thumbed through the pages for what, he did not know, Thor stumbled upon images of strange animals, all as white as snow. There was the big white owl, the sly white fox and a huge white bear, And also the fierce white wolf, the big white walrus and the furry white hare. He thought they all looked so perfect, so elegant and so clean, If only he could join them and leave this dirty scene. Luckily the book came with a map to take him to his goal To live with the beautiful white animals far away at the North Pole. THOR made preparations for his journey to that magical land in the North, Saying farewell to the muck and mud he began to set forth. Now everyone knows the boars' manners are crude at best So he kept his plans a secret and did not tell the rest. At nightfall, he took off and vanished in a blink of an eye, While his fellow boars were loudly snoring as if all were saying "goodbye".
