This is Book 2 in the series of 10. Mo and José find love with twin sisters when visiting the annual Festive. Mother Earth makes her appearance at the big house and they make her an offering of nuts for her to enjoy with real life pictures of Agatha and Simore. Mo with his partner Buni and José with her sister Huni have a set of twins each. Mo and José get an unplanned adventure of a lifetime and are saved by the quick thinking of Elaenia. Set in the lower Andes, this series of ten books started off with two Fancy Rats (sisters Simore and Agatha) wanting to leave their cage and go on an adventure. They meet two Chinchillas (Mo and José) by chance and they take them on risky adventures around their forest. The Chinchillas show them the beauty of their domain as well as the risks. They are chased by a big black dog (Jake) as well as foxes. They make friends with a bird (Elaenia) that tries to keep them safe and on the right track. The adventures are continued with the Kits of Mo and José in book three. Agatha and Simore become doting aunts to them showing them love as well as discipline.

Adventures Of The Forest Chinchas- Making New Friends

This is the first book in a series of 10, which is set in a forest the lower Andes. Two sisters Agatha and Simore (who are Fancy Rats) escape out of their cage and set off for an adventure into the real world. They meet by chance two Chinchillas (Mo & José) and become friends. Mo and José love doing daring adventures and during these daily trips they are chased by a big dog (Jake) and attacked by foxes. Elaenia, a bird friend of Mo and José tries to keep them safe and offers them wisdom. The series continues with many more adventures as Mo and José get partners and have kits. The kits take over the adventures in book three. Aunts Agatha and Simore dote on the kits and give them love and discipline at the same time. The stories try to instil good manners, behaviour and respect to others. Alexis a human boy is introduced in book 7 who has a disability and has the "gift" to talk to and understand the animals.
